If you don’t understand the doctrines of God, man, and nature, you cannot understand Jesus Christ. The virgin birth is implicit in the Old Testament. The problem of a corrupt lineage is completely avoided through the virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Joseph’s line was under the Coniah curse). The virgin birth was prophetically necessary.
